This storm has been one for the books. Schools have been cancelled for the first time in 30 years, Crested Butte Mountain Resort had to close early Monday, January 9th, buildings are taking a beating, snow removers have been working their bums off, and believe it most of us are loving it. Check out these outrageous photos from the past week or so:

1. A constant white room.

2. Too much snow? Who would have thought?

3. What it's actually like to be in a snow globe.

Trying to get to doorways is now a chore. #buried #titsdeep 🏡

4. The shoveling struggle is real.

5. Seriously, where do you even start?

6. Time for an Avy Warning.

You know when the avy danger is real when they come in to your house

8. Snowmageddon

BONUS: Needless to say, we're flippin' out!

Each photo that surfaces is even crazier than the last. Lots of snow that's going to make us sore now, skiing and shoveling wise, but come summertime the rivers will rage, wildflowers will be insane, and the Mesa will fill. For now, keep skiing the pow and tread lightly throughout town because the struggle is real. Keep up with the Avalanche Center and CBMRbecause each day there is another story. This is the storm we've all been waiting for and you cannot make this up.
